The ALKA RAIL system is ideal for moving loads to and from a fixed or moving position with the aid of a vertical lifting device (hoist, outrigger, load assist), generally used for ergonomic reasons to help workers perform tasks to reduce the risk of injury.

• Minimum effort when operating .5 to 2% of the suspended load with ergonomics in all designs.

• The selection of the profile is made in relation to the applied load and the distance between supports.
• The applied load should be considered as (weight of the part + weight of the lifting equipment + weight of the trolley) * 1.25 ASME B30.11 Proof load 125%.
• The optimum support spacing is selected; the aesthetic support spacing should be considered to be less than 14 ft.
